Approved Water Education Providers

Who are TTW Approved Water Education Providers and What is a Strategic Program Alliance?

Since there are a large number of high quality water education opportunities available in Southeastern Wisconsin, we encourage teachers and students to pursue water education experiences aligned with their specific needs. Thus TTW has created strategic program alliances with approved water education providers and allows TTW teachers to use their TTW Water Education Stipend funds to participate in their programs. Approved Water Education Providers are organizations that foster the understanding of the importance of water through educational programming that:

  • Utilizes hands-on inquiry methodologies
  • Provides information that directly relates to water quality or water quality related issues
  • Has a low student to presenter ratio (less than 20 to 1)
  • Provides an unique experience that could not be replicated in the classroom

Water education providers interested in becoming an approved TTW organization should complete a brief TTW Strategic Alliance application.

Approved Water Education Providers

The following organizations have been approved as Water Education Providers because their educational programs provide information that directly relates to water quality or related issues and offer a unique experience that can not be replicated in the classroom. A more comprehensive list will be sent to you in the near future. If you have other field trip ideas please contact me. You will need to contact these organizations directly to make your own arrangements.
