We invite you to hear an audio presentation —‘The Earth is My Jukebox’— celebrating Earth’s rarest natural sounds by internationally-acclaimed acoustic ecologist, Gordon Hempton. His presentation is guaranteed to change the way you look at and listen to our world.
In honor of Earth Day, the executive directors of four local nature & ecology centers, have come together to host a talk with Gordon Hempton, Emmy-award winning acoustic ecologist and author. Having circled the globe in pursuit of the Earth’s rarest natural sounds, Mr. Hempton offers a new take on conservation: preserving the quiet places in the world.
Mr. Hempton will speak at Mequon Nature Preserve on April 22 at 7:00 p.m.

Presented as a collaboration between the Riveredge Nature Center, Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, Urban Ecology Center, and Mequon Nature Preserve.
