Canceled | SAWW Chainsaw Training: Level 3

Join SAWW (Safety and Woods Worker) trainer Luke Saunders (Forester with Adaptive Restoration LLC) for a hands-on training in chainsaw use, maintenance, and technique. Participants in Level 3 training will spend most of the day in the field practicing techniques to operate chainsaws safely, comfortably and productively

This class is part three of a four level series through the Safety and Woods Working training program.

Topics include

• reviewing information from Levels 1 and 2
• focus on planning and executing difficult tree felling
• precision at the stump
• planning and executing limbing and bucking.

Hands-on training gives participants the opportunity to fell or buck at least one tree. You are encouraged to bring your own equipment and lunch; helmets are mandatory.

Cancellation Policy: Registrant will be refunded 75% of registration fee if cancellation occurs up to 7 days (1 week) before the event.  Any cancellations within 7 days of the event will not be refunded unless the event is cancelled by Riveredge staff.
