This presentation will discuss the move to sustainable flood management that mitigates flood impacts while preserving and restoring our natural waterways. \nThis program is offered in-person and virtually. DESCRIPTION:January 31 @ 8:00 am – 4:00 pm\n              \n                  Winter Identification and Management of Woody Species \n              \n              Learn how to identify\, manage and monitor trees and shrubs during the dormant season with Riveredge restoration ecologists. The first half of the morning will be spent indoors reviewing a large collection of freshly cut live specimens by fruit\, bud\, twig\, branch\, bark\, and trunk. Following lunch we will take the course outside to review management and identify populations by setting and habitat. \nPlease dress for the weather and please bring a lunch. \nAges 15+\nMember: $65 | Non-member: $75\nCurrently enrolled students: $35 \nPre-registration required by January 30 at 12:00 pm (noon).
