MAPS Bird Banding
Session 1
Witness bird banding in action at the Riveredge Monitoring Avian Productivity and Survivorship (MAPS) station. See how resident songbirds are mist-netted, extracted and banded by licensed bird banders. Once you have registered you will be contacted a Riveredge staff memeber with more information. Bird banding is weather dependent and confirmation emails are sent out the day prior. The rain date for this event is Friday, 6/9/2023.
All ages welcome (Children should be accompanied by an adult)
