This 2-day hands-on workshop will focus on song bird banding and is perfect for beginners and novice banders, while still offering valuable insight for those with more experience. Enjoy a mix of interactive lectures, live demonstrations, and guided field training as you learn the fundamentals of bird banding. Topics include mist netting and trapping techniques, safe removal of birds from nets, proper bird handling and processing. Come build your skills, confidence, and appreciation for this important conservation practice!

Participants should be able to attend both days, May 29th and 30th 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.

Ages 16+ | Children ages 8-15 may join a registered adult.
