Frog Fest! Morning Session (nearing capacity)
June 5, 2021 @ 10:30 am - 12:15 pm
This program may have already reached capacity. Click Here to register for the afternoon session.
Riveredge’s watery worlds burst with life throughout Spring! Gather your family and join the Riveredge Educators to search for frogs, tadpoles, turtles, salamanders and other creatures that live in our wetland habitats. Rotate to 5 different stations where you’ll get familiar with frog calls (ribbit! croak! burp!), scoop for tadpoles and insects, learn about leeches, and talk turtles with our resident Box Turtle, Glitter! We even have a take-home bag of crafts so that you can continue the fun in your backyard!
Pre-registration is required for all humans. Muck boots are reccomended. Scooping materials like nets, buckets, and strainers can be left at home – as they are not allowed within the Riveredge Sanctuary! We look forward to exploring with you this spring!
This morning session takes place from 10:30am – 12:15pm. Masks are required to be worn by all while checking in and while at educational stations.
All Access Member: $5 | Trail Pass Members: $6 | Non-members: $8
