Trail Access
Year-round access to 10+ miles of trails for hiking, snowshoeing, or cross country skiing. Open dawn to dusk 365 days a year.
Early Camp Registration:
Early registration access for summer camp programs. Many of our camps fill before spring.
Member-only Events:
Invitations to member-only events and programs (seasonal dinners, tree climbing club, and more!)
Guest Passes:
Bring a friend along. Trail Pass members get 2 guest passes to share with friends and family.
Discounts & Swag:
Discounts or member swag package for all Riveredge programs & events.
More Discounts:
Members receive a 10% discount in the Riveredge Nature Store. They also receive discounts on rentals and birthday parties.
Property Consultations:
Member-only access to Riveredge staff for property, fee-based consultations.

4th Graders

Riveredge is regarded as one of the most beautifully restored natural sanctuaries in southeastern Wisconsin, and Fourth grade is a time to explore it. At Riveredge, we think its the perfect time for families to explore our natural world too! All 4th graders are eligible to receive a free Trail Pass family membership to Riveredge from the summer before to the summer after their 4th grade year!

My child is a 4th grader and we already have a membership.
If you are a Riveredge Member already we will extend your membership by adding a year to your current expiration date.
I Purchased a Trail Pass Membership, how do I upgrade?
Trail Pass members can upgrade to an All Access Membership by paying the difference in cost ($35 for Family, $15 for Individual +1). This can be done by calling the Center or stopping in to visit us!
Can I sign up for programs/visit before I get my membership cards?
Yes, absolutely. Our online registration system is linked to your membership email so the moment you purchase a membership you can receive the membership discounts. If you are looking to come out and hike, Riveredge staff are able to look up your membership information.
What is the benefit of the annual auto-renew option?
Auto-renewal makes life easier; no need to remember when your membership begins or ends, we’ll automatically charge your account annually so you can continue exploring Riveredge seamlessly without a lapse in membership. This is especially handy for gift memberships given to family or friends.
I am a grandparent, are my grandchildren covered by my membership?
Grandparents can bring grandkids with their family membership but not the parents as well (unless all generations actually all live in the same household)
Discounts available for military members and college students
Veterans, active military, and current college students can receive a $10 discount on membership. Stop in the visitor center and present your military or student ID to get the discount.
We just wanted to thank you for a great evening at the Yule Log dinner a couple of weeks ago. It was our first time there as we’ve just joined the center this year. The food was delicious and the chamber singers and story teller were so fun to listen to. Our little daughter had a blast looking for the yule log in the woods and even though we personally did not find it, it was fun to hear the air horn and get back to see it and cut it. This festive evening was wonderful and we sincerely appreciate all the effort that went into it.
