The café is intended for people with all stages of memory loss and their caregivers. Fun nature related activities are planned for the group each month.
The paddle will begin at Thiensville Village Park, and we will go up the river, turning around at Villa Grove Park. We’ll discuss the history and current state of our rivers and share different points of interest as we go.
We expect to find a variety of shorebirds and water birds (ducks, rails, bitterns and herons), pelicans and raptors -- as well as resident and early migrant passerines.
Join a naturalist and step into the Milwaukee River! We'll explore this wonderful, watery world and seek out the creatures that call the river home.
Tree Climbing programs are designed for participants age 7 and up, with no experience. We make it safe and easy!

Enjoy a scenic paddle down the Milwaukee River followed by hotdogs and s’mores next to a crackling campfire at Riveredge’s River Outpost. We’ll provide the hotdogs, s’mores, kayaks, paddles, and life jackets. No kayaking experience necessary!
Experience kayaking through Horicon Marsh, the site of both a national and state wildlife refuge, located just one hour from Riveredge. Join a Riveredge naturalist for an exciting day of paddling and discovery.
The Photo Club meetings are friendly and informal, with a brief discussion of upcoming activities, a short program and conclude with the opportunity to share and discuss photos.
