Free Family Nature Club at Huiras Lake State Natural Area in Fredonia

Family Nature Club is a free offering to our community designed for kids and their families. We facilitate outdoor, environmental-education based experiences for families to enjoy together.

This Family Nature Club will meet at Huiras Lake State Natural Area in Fredonia (address below).

The preserve includes the northern portion of Huiras Lake, hardwood forest, and a mixed hardwood conifer swamp. The lack of recent disturbances, combined with relatively low numbers of introduced exotic plant species, renders this area among the most pristine wetlands in southeastern Wisconsin.

All ages are welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult 18+.
This program is free to attend, but donations are greatly appreciated!
Pre-registration required by February 7 at 11:59 pm.
