CANCELED WI Science Fest: Milwaukee River Community Science Night at Riveredge Nature Center

Riveredge Nature Center, situated on over 400-acres that stretches across the center of the upper Milwaukee River basin, serves as a living laboratory for thousands of students throughout the school year to learn about life that calls the river home. In honor of the Wisconsin Science Festival, we want to extend our access to some of the most pristine Milwaukee River experiences to a broader audience by inviting adults and families to participate in our Community Science Night.
Learn the role of a “River Scientist” and put on hip waders and learn how to sample for macroinvertebrates using various techniques, explore new technology used to quantify various water quality parameters, and interact with our Watershed Interactive Table at the brand new River Outpost building.
