A summer of exploration, new friends, and adventure

That sounds like a summer at Riveredge! Beloved by generations of Riveredge Kids, a week of summer camp at Riveredge is an experience like no other.

“It was epic and I had the best time of my life.”

– Trailblazers Camper

From preschoolers to high schoolers, there’s something for everyone this summer at Riveredge and beyond. From wading in the river to look for crayfish to backpacking in the wilderness, the adventures at camp expand even beyond the borders of Riveredge.

We are always looking for volunteers that want to share in the adventure. If you enjoy time in the outdoors and working with children, sign up to volunteer! (We also have volunteers who are past campers… relive those great memories!)

“I’m always impressed by the quality of teachers chosen to lead camps. Their energy and dedication helped my child feel at home while at camp.”

– Parent of a Pathfinders Camper

Extended Care

Before and After Care for Summer Campers! Riveredge is happy to provide before & after camp extended care for our full-day campers. Our programs allow campers to spend just a little more time exploring Riveredge with earlier drop off (7:30am) and later pick up (5:30pm). Camp counselors will encourage your camper’s imagination through games and activities and they will have plenty of time for free play in our natural playground. Please note that extended care is not available following an overnight program.

Fees: $50 for am and pm (full week); $30 for either am only OR pm only (full week);

$10 per care period per day for custom care schedule

Payment is due two weeks prior to your child(ren)’s camp week.

Extended Care Registration

Membership Discount

Riveredge Family Membership is $75 annually. Members receive discounts on camps ranging from $20-$30 per child based on the camp. That means that a membership can pay for itself for families with multiple children in camp and still provides many other benefits all year round!

Multiple Camps/Children Discount

If you register for multiple camps (they can be for the same child or different children), you will pay the normal fee for the first camp and receive a 10% discount off of each additional camp.  Please note, in order to receive both the multiple camps and multiple child (i.e. signing up 2 children for 2 camps apiece) discount or the multiple camps for a single child in the same registration, you must pay 50% of your registration cost and contact Riveredge directly at 262-375-2715 to have the remaining balance adjusted.

Payment

50% of camp fees are due at the time of registration. Full payment for all camps is due by May 1st. You may make payments on your account at anytime through the online registration system using your log-in information. If full payment is not received by May 1st, we can not guarantee that your child’s space in camp will be held.

Switching Camps

If you’d like to move your camp registration to another camp session, we are happy to accommodate those requests if space allows. Each date change is subject to a $30 fee. Please contact Riveredge directly at 262-375-2715 to make a date change request.

Waitlists

Riveredge camps are popular and fill quickly!  Waitlist will be formed when camps have reached their capacity.  It is very beneficial to put your name on waitlists as spots do open up due to family scheduling conflicts.  There is no fee to put your child on the waitlist.  If a space becomes available, you will be contacted via email.  You have 48 hours to confirm the spot and pay the deposit.  If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, a call will be made and you will have an additional 48 hours.  If the office does not hear from you, your child will be removed from the waitlist.  Timing will be at the discretion of the camp director.

Cancellations

Registrations may be canceled up to 30 days prior to the week of your camp to receive a refund of registration fees minus a $50 non-refundable deposit. If you cancel less than 30 days before your week of camp, refunds are only given for medical reasons and family emergencies. These refunds are also subject to the $50 non-refundable deposit.
