Winter Through Animal Eyes
Come along for a hike to see if you can find the signs of living left by our animal friends. Who do you think lives in this natural area? Let us take time to explore their space! Please bring your headlamps or flashlights!
Family Nature Club is a free offering to our community designed for kids, teens, and their families. We facilitate outdoor, environmental-education based experiences for families to enjoy together.
Meet at Kurtz Woods Natural Area in Grafton (address below).
All ages are welcome!

Nature Tots:
Owls
Join us as we learn about these nocturnal animals that fly through the wintry nights in Wisconsin. Practice owl calls and examine their feathers up close! We’ll play a predator prey game, make snow owls, and search for owl signs in the forest.
Nature Tots is an early childhood program designed for learners ages 2-5 years old, accompanied by an adult guardian (little siblings ages 0-1 are welcome to tag along). A Riveredge Naturalist will focus on outdoor exploration, literacy, physical development, nature intelligence, and social development. Programs will be cancelled and refunded in the case of inclement weather.
