Join a naturalist for a casual walk on the trails of Riveredge. Each stroll will focus on a special aspect of nature but other things of interest will be explored as well. Soak in the beautiful fall colors of the Highland Woods Park with Riveredge Educator, Rachel R., for this Fall Foliage Hike! Bring water and wear comfortable shoes for walking.
Family Nature Club is a free offering to our community designed for kids, teens, and their families. We facilitate outdoor, environmental-education based experiences for families to enjoy together.

Gear up for adventure and hike the 3 mile loop around Riveredge’s Main Campus. We will visit a variety of habitats- the Milwaukee River, wetlands, prairies, forests. Come prepared with backpacks for water and snacks and comfortable walking shoes.

Plant Medicine Walk
Erica Bhatti, member of the Lac du Flambeau Ojibwe, will lead a plant medicine walk following her beading class. Join for one or both! We will experience the healing qualities of spending time with and getting to know our non-human (most often green) kin.
The walk will be about a mile and a half on boardwalks, gravel trails, and earthen trails, rain or shine!
This event is free to attend, but donations are greatly appreciated!
All ages welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
