Kayaking Horicon Marsh
Experience kayaking through Horicon Marsh, the site of both a national and state wildlife refuge, located just one hour from Riveredge. The slow moving waters of the marsh offer relaxing family paddling. The flora and fauna are unmatched, and more than 350 species of birds have been sighted over the years. Join a Riveredge naturalist for an exciting day of paddling and discovery. Riveredge will provide kayaks, paddles and lifejackets; you provide a hat, sunscreen, water, lunch and enthusiasm. Program limited to 12 participants.

Introduction to Kayaking
Learn how to kayak with Riveredge at Yahr Park in West Bend! This class is designed for paddlers who have little or no kayaking experience. A Riveredge instructor will introduce you to the fundamentals of kayaking on calm water, including essential gear, paddling technique, and safety measures. We’ll provide kayaks, paddles, and life jackets. You provide a hat, sunscreen, hydration, and enthusiasm. We will use single person kayaks.
