Nature Tots:
Animals in Winter
Who hibernates and who stays active in the winter? Nature Tots will discover what some of our furry, feathered, and fishy friends do when it gets cold through storytelling, play, and active exploration. We will make our own hibernation cave and explore outside! Kiddos and adults alike, come prepared with winter gear to stay nice and warm for the outdoor portion of this program.
Nature Tots is an early childhood program designed for learners ages 2-5 years old, accompanied by an adult guardian (little siblings ages 0-1 are welcome to tag along). A Riveredge Naturalist will focus on outdoor exploration, literacy, physical development, nature intelligence, and social development. Programs will be cancelled and refunded in the case of inclement weather.
