Join us for a guided nature hike at Lion’s Den Gorge in Grafton, led by the Community Rivers Program! Enjoy the breathtaking beauty of coastal Lake Michigan as we explore this scenic area. During our hike, we’ll discuss the vital connections between the Milwaukee River and the health of Lake Michigan, all while taking in the stunning sights around us. This event is perfect for anyone interested in learning more about our local waterways. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with nature and expand your knowledge.

Meet a naturalist at the WEST PARKING LOT for a casual walk through Riveredge’s first prairie plantings, then tour the sturgeon streamside rearing facility where staff and volunteers raise baby lake sturgeon each year! A few glacial features and unique old structures in the area will be explored as well.

QPR Suicide Prevention Training

Question, Presuade, Refer (QPR). “As CPR is for the heart, QPR is for the mind.” Recognize the warning signs of someone experiences a mental health or suicidal crisis. Learn how to save lives by providing practical and evidence-based crisis intervention training. The training will be followed by an optional 30 min nature hike to experience the healing benefits of nature and learn coping techniques.

5:30-6:30 QPR Sucide Prevention Training
6:30-7:00 Nature Hike

Ages 18+

This training is free for everyone.
