Stroll with a Naturalist: Sturgeon Tour

Meet a naturalist at the WEST PARKING LOT for a casual walk through Riveredge’s first prairie plantings, then tour the sturgeon streamside rearing facility where staff and volunteers raise baby lake sturgeon each year! A few glacial features and unique old structures in the area will be explored as well.

Ages 18+

This program is free to attend, but donations are greatly appreciated!

Treasures of OZ Drop in Tours

Learn about the Milwaukee River Watershed and the history of Riveredge Nature Center as you stroll along the forested trails of Riveredge. See Lake Sturgeon fingerlings in the streamside rearing facility and discover some other aquatic organisms that call the river their home. Spend as much or as little time as you have time to explore.

Park and meet in the West Parking Lot at Riveredge (address below).

Ages 5+. This program is free to attend, but donations are greatly appreciated! No pre-registration necessary.
