Enjoy a relaxing 2 mile kayak trip on the Milwaukee River starting in Grafton! Kayak by blue herons searching for their next meal and look through the clear, tannic water to find fish swimming below. No experience? No problem! We’ll have you paddling like a pro in no time! We’ll provide kayaks, paddles, and life jackets. Don’t forget your sunscreen, hat, water, and enthusiasm. We will use single person kayaks.

Kayaking the Milwaukee River in Newburg
Join us on a beautiful 6 mile paddle down the Milwaukee River to see Riveredge from a new perspective – on the water! Look out for wildlife, such as deer, eagles, and herons, as we meander through one of the most beautiful segments of the Milwaukee River. Recommended for beginners with some experience or those with a sense of adventure. We’ll provide kayaks, paddles, life jackets, and instruction. Don’t forget your sunscreen, hat, water, and enthusiasm. We will use single person kayaks. If the river’s water levels are low, we will do an alternative downriver trip in Thiensville.

Fall Foliage Paddle
at Big Cedar Lake
Join a Riveredge Adventure Educator for a scenic 4 mile paddle on Big Cedar Lake to celebrate fall transitions and immerse yourself in stunning autumn colors. We’ll paddle alongside Tamarack trees and water lilies to the natural springs that feed into the Cedar Lakes, known as the “Blue Holes”. No experience required. Participants must know how to swim. Space is limited to 10 participants. Day pass to Yahr Park is required and not included in the fee.
