Start your day with an early morning bird walk with Conservation Manager, Nathaniel Reinartz, to observe the amazing diversity of migrating birds that stop off to refuel at Riveredge’s hotspots before continuing on their journey north. Spring Bird Walks meet rain or shine.

Meet a naturalist at the WEST PARKING LOT for a casual walk through Riveredge’s first prairie plantings, then tour the sturgeon streamside rearing facility where staff and volunteers raise baby lake sturgeon each year! A few glacial features and unique old structures in the area will be explored as well.
