SAWW Chainsaw Training Level 2

Join SAWW (Safety and Woods Worker) trainer Luke Saunders (Forester with Adaptive Restoration LLC) for a hands-on training in chainsaw use, maintenance, and technique. Spend time both outside and in the classroom, practicing how to operate chainsaws safely, comfortably, and productively. This class is part two of a four level series through the Safety and Woods Working training program (SAWW). Topics include: basic chainsaw maintenance; review of the cutter tooth and hands-on sharpening; introduction to wedges; planning and executing tree felling; planning and executing limbing and bucking. Participants are encouraged to bring your own lunch and equipment if you have any. Helmets are mandatory.
