Yoga and Forest Bathing
Build your resilience and take control of your mental and physical health by honoring a moment for yourself to practice power yoga and mindfulness at Riveredge Nature Center. Join Samantha Lammers, of SOYO Studios, as we infuse movement and mindfulness. We will begin with a 45 minute heat building flow, followed by 45 minutes of walking meditation through the forest.

At 9am we will be building heat and challenging our physical bodies as we connect with breath and enjoy the beauty of the natural world around us. At 10:15 we will be slowing down and focusing on our mindfulness and breath as we work through an abundance of restorative poses. Props will be provided. Please register for each class individually.

Summer Solstice Yoga: 108 Sun Salutations
It is common practice in the yoga traditions to complete 108 Sun Salutations on the summer and winter solstice. Practicing 108 Sun Salutations is a meditative practice that connects the body, mind, and the universe specifically when nature is undergoing a change. This is a more advanced class however completion of all 108 sun salutations is not required to participate in the class. Join us on your mat to challenge your body and do your best!
