Some of the most frequently seen butterflies in Wisconsin include the Clouded Sulphur and Cabbage butterfly. Take a casual walk with a naturalist to search for these and many more colorful species that can be found at Riveredge.

Free Trails Day is an open community day where we waive the Riveredge trail fees entirely. Come hike for free with 10 miles of trails to choose from!
Learn to identify and document important insect indicator species in the field alongside conservation professionals. Participate for all or part of the day. Pack a bag lunch if you’re staying.
