Family Nature Club
in West Bend
Family Nature Club is a free offering to our community designed for kids, teens, and their families. We facilitate outdoor, environmental-education based experiences for families to enjoy together.
Minz Park is a natural park area with trail access on Stonebridge Road. The nature trails wander through scenic prairie and beautiful wooded area, with a small creek that runs along the south end.
Park and meet at Minz Park in West Bend (address below).
All ages are welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Pre-registration is required by January 21 at 11:55 pm.

Nature Tots
Nature Tots is an early childhood program designed for learners ages 2-5 years old, accompanied by an adult guardian (little siblings ages 0-1 are welcome to tag along). A Riveredge Naturalist will focus on outdoor exploration, literacy, physical development, nature intelligence, and social development.

Family Nature Club is a free offering to our community designed for kids, teens, and their families. We facilitate outdoor, environmental-education based experiences for families to enjoy together.
Over 85% of the 4-H Camp Riversite is set aside for the purpose of environmental education. The self-guided nature trails winds its way for nearly a mile through dense pine forest, swamp and grassland.
Park and meet at 4-H Camp Riversite in Sheboygan Falls (address below).
All ages are welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Little Explorers
Playgroup
Little Explorers is a playgroup open to families with children ages 2 to 5 years old. These naturalist guided experiences are designed with 45 minutes of structured play & exploration followed by 45 minutes of free play. Adults are encouraged to play along with their little explorers as well. Little siblings (0-1) are welcome to tag along too.

Trails Aglow: Valentine’s Night
Enjoy your Friday night by luminary light! Take in the beauty and serenity of a crisp winter evening on a self-guided 1.5 mile illuminated trail – a great adventure for both grownups and children. Traverse our trails on skis, snowshoes (6+ inches of snow), or your own two feet. A warm fire will be awaiting you when you return.
Theme: Valentine’s Night. Share the love of nature with those you love! Supplies will be provided to create Valentine’s cards indoors. The craft supplies will be available in the Visitor Center and Coop. The Wine Bar and campfire will be located at the Coop and will be featured on the Trail Map that you will receive when you check in at the Front Desk. Wine and hard cider will be available for purchase for adults 21+. Hot chocolate (free) and Riveredge apple cider (available for purchase) will be available for everyone! If you would like to take a beverage with you along the trail, please bring a thermos, tumbler, or other container that you can take to-go!
Snowshoe rental is available ($10/hour for non-members and FREE for Members). Event may be altered/canceled due to weather conditions.
