Visitor Center Renovations Virtual Listening Session
Help us revitalize and expand our 34-year old Visitor Center, a pivotal gateway to the 485-acre Riveredge sanctuary! The Visitor Center is integral to our education, conservation, and research initiatives. The building, however, has remained largely unchanged since its construction in 1990. Our Growing Legacy Campaign seeks support from our community to fully realize the potential of this remarkable building.
Planned renovations include these features and more: a more visible entrance with ADA accessible entry, fully accessible restrooms, an ADA lift between levels, a modern community gathering space, a wet lab classroom on the building’s pond level.
Trail improvements are another key part of the campaign’s goals, making navigating the trail system easier, clearer, and more accessible. With your support, we’ll address critical needs, ushering a new era of accessibility, sustainability, and community engagement. We invite you to learn more about this exciting new era for our organization.
We enthusiastically welcome you to attend any of our scheduled listening sessions to hear more about these exciting plans for the future. No pre-registration necessary.
