Stroll with a Naturalist:
Spring Wildflowers
Join a naturalist for a casual walk on the trails of Riveredge. Each stroll will focus on a special aspect of nature but other things of interest will be explored as well. These educational programs will give you a better understanding of the flora and fauna of the nature center. You may even learn some of the history of the land too.
Ages 18+

Learn to identify spring wildflowers in their habitats with restoration ecologist Matt Smith. We will visit many woodland, wetland, and prairie environments along the Riveredge trail network. Students are encouraged to bring a camera, book, water and snack. This event is rain or shine.
All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Member Adult* (age 12+): $30 | Non-member Adult (age 12+): $35

Signs of Winter, or Spring? Oh My!
Have you visited a School Forest lately? This one has much variety in ecosystems and habitats. Will it be winter weather or spring weather? Who knows! We will plan to hike the trails and find out! Let’s explore the Outdoor Classroom trails at West Bend School District.
Family Nature Club is a free offering to our community designed for kids, teens, and their families. We facilitate outdoor, environmental-education based experiences for families to enjoy together.

Welcome the season by listening for birds, smelling flowers, looking for critters, and enjoying the beauty spring has to offer. This nature club will gather at Ellwood H. May Environmental Park in Maywood.
Family Nature Club is a free offering to our community designed for kids ages 5-12 and their families. We facilitate outdoor, environmental-education based experiences for families to enjoy together.
