Family Nature Club
in Port Washington
Family Nature Club is a free offering to our community designed for kids, teens, and their families. We facilitate outdoor, environmental-education based experiences for families to enjoy together.
Sauk Creek Nature Preserve is 27 acres. The creek runs north and south over limestone bedrock ledges and eventually flows into Lake Michigan near the Port Washington Marina. The land is a valuable wildlife corridor and an outstanding resource for community education and recreation.
Park and meet at Sauk Creek Nature Preserve in Port Washington (address below).
All ages are welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Free Healthy Cooking Class: Cauliflower Tacos
Learn to make vegetarian tacos along with delicious sauces. These plant-based tacos are a healthy twist on a classic favorite, perfect for adding flavor and variety to your meal lineup.
Ages 6+ (under 16 must have a parent or guardian registered as well)

Family Nature Club is a free offering to our community designed for kids, teens, and their families. We facilitate outdoor, environmental-education based experiences for families to enjoy together.
The land of Lime Kiln Park was once part of a limestone quarry operated by the Milwaukee Falls Lime Company, which was incorporated in 1890 and which in later years was owned by the Tews Lime and Cement Company of Milwaukee. This 28-acre community park includes 1 year-round facility, 1 open-air shelter, restroom facilities, 9-hole Frisbee golf course, sand volleyball courts, fishing, canoe ramp and an archery range.

Kletzsch Park boasts the Oak Leaf Trail, an archery area, sand volleyball, soccer fields, disc golf, a sledding hill, softball diamonds, an exceptional native plant community, and great Salmon fishing.

Minz Park is a natural park area with trail access on Stonebridge Road. The nature trails wander through scenic prairie and beautiful wooded area, with a small creek that runs along the south end.

Family Nature Club is a free offering to our community designed for kids, teens, and their families. We facilitate outdoor, environmental-education based experiences for families to enjoy together.
Over 85% of the 4-H Camp Riversite is set aside for the purpose of environmental education. The self-guided nature trails winds its way for nearly a mile through dense pine forest, swamp and grassland.
