    Experienced bird bander, Al Sherkow noticed bluebirds flying out of an unused wooden newspaper box. In 2025, he monitored 19 traditional bluebird nest boxes, and 18 newspaper holders. Al will share his findings with you about how bluebirds have adapted to using newspaper boxes instead of natural cavities to expand their range.
