Start your day with an early bird walk with Conservation Manager, Nathaniel Reinartz, to observe the amazing diversity of migrating birds that stop off to refuel at Riveredge’s hotspots before continuing on their journey north.
These naturalist guided experiences are designed with 45 minutes of structured play & exploration followed by 45 minutes of free play.

For one day each year, Riveredge becomes extra magical... and that day is Fairy Fest! We are celebrating the mythology, lore, and the flying beings that inhabit Riveredge.
Bluebirds aren't the only species of birds that use the boxes on Riveredge's Bluebird Trail. Take a stroll with a naturalist to learn about the other cavity nesters that benefit from the boxes. Additional aspects of nature will be explored as well.
