Family Nature Club is a free offering to our community designed for kids and their families. We facilitate outdoor, environmental-education based experiences for families to enjoy together.

This Family Nature Club will meet at Fox Hill Nature Preserve in West Bend (address below).

Fox Hill Nature Preserve has more than 5 miles of hiking, snowshoeing, and X-country ski trails, all for public enjoyment. The preserve also includes a native prairie with over 50 varieties of tall grass species, surrounded by mesic hardwood forests and wetlands.

All ages are welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult 18+.

For this special Mother’s Day Weekend, we are doing something special! With the great staff and Greenhouse interns at Webers, we will make seed paper and cyanotype prints.

This Family Nature Club will meet at Webers Greenhouse in Milwaukee (address below).

Concurrently, Webers will be running a FREE FAMILY PORTRAIT session! 11am-2pm

“Join us for a beautiful, relaxed photo experience surrounded by lush plants, spring blooms, and natural light. Families, caregivers, and all the important people in your life are welcome—this is a chance to capture meaningful memories together in a warm and joyful setting.

Or take a solo picture as an individual! All are welcome

Our photographers will be offering complimentary mini portrait sessions, perfect for updating family photos, gifting a keepsake, or simply slowing down and spending time together.

Come early, explore the greenhouse, and enjoy a welcoming, community-centered space while we celebrate the season and the people who help us grow.

Spots are limited so sign up is required, and will be live 4 week before the event.”

This Family Nature Club will meet at Forest Beach Migratory Preserve in Port Washington (address below).

The Forest Beach Migratory Preserve features a 5-acre hardwood forest with ephemeral (seasonal) ponds, open grassland and prairie, a partially wooded ravine and five constructed wetland ponds.

All ages are welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult 18+.

This Family Nature Club will meet at Lac Lawrann Conservancy in West Bend (address below).

Lac Lawrann Conservancy is a 145 acres nature preserve and is contiguous with Royal Oaks park adding another 25 acres. It is a vast expanse of water, sky, wetlands, native hardwood forest, red pine plantation, tall grass prairie, and glacial landscapes.

All ages are welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult 18+.

Gordon Park is a historic Milwaukee County park offering a variety of recreational amenities and scenic views of the Milwaukee River. Visitors can enjoy a wooden shelter suitable for picnics, a playground for children, and access to the Oak Leaf Trail, a popular biking and walking path.

All ages are welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult 18+.

Hawthorne Hills County Park is a 57.1-acre park of mostly undeveloped woodland that is sandwiched between Pioneer Village to the north, Herbert H. Peters Youth Camp to the east, and Hawthorne Hills Golf Course to the south.

All ages are welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult 18+.

Fellenz Woods is a 160-acre preserve in the town of Trenton, WI, containing nearly 1.5 miles of undeveloped Milwaukee River frontage with an extensive 2.88-mile trail system that loops through planted prairie, hardwood swamp, and floodplain forest.

All ages are welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult 18+.
